Security or Privacy  is main issue in mobile phone, how to secure our data ,information and our privacy , so im 3 main category based on hardware , software, and on common sense. there is all major security tips which will help to secure yours phone.

Based on Hardware Security

1. Avoid insecure brands

There is Lots of Company in Market National , International . Buy trusted brand avoid duplicate phone recommend buy good quality and service brands don’t go for cheap. if yours phone not goes upto atleast 1-2 year.
Some phones have a good reputation for receiving more frequent updates, such as Google Pixel line, and Apple iPhones thy continue to get updates for several years. However, with other smartphones it’s quite the opposite.

In February the issue of phone security reached the level of a congressional hearing in the US, with intelligence officials warning that phones from Chinese manufacturers Huawei and ZTE should be considered insecure, and going so far as to accuse these phones of spying on US citizens. And last year budget phones from Blu were pulled from Amazon due to privacy concerns.

2.Avoid to Root Android Mobile phone

Every Mobile phone is secure with internal firewall which protect you , if root yours phone you can overclock the all functionality but its breaks the firewall which will help to protect you.

3.Avoid to charge Phone From desktop, laptop of someone

Use only own power bank or phone chargers Don’t giving someone to charge yours phone with laptop or desktop it may be copy yours data from mobile.

4. Lock Yours phone with fingerprint or Password

Enabling a phone to lock itself when not used for a short period is a cornerstone of keeping the device secure. When the phone is locked, it prevents others getting access to the device, and all of its data data and apps.

5.Enable Find My Device

Google’s Find My Device is a locator service that lets you track or wipe data from a lost or stolen Android phone, tablet, or wearable. All you need to do is add your Google account to your Android device and turn on the location feature to enable the service.
To locate your device remotely, install the Find My Device app or access it via web browser. Once you’re logged in, a dashboard will show an approximate location of your phone and provide you with four options: locate your device, play sound, lock your device (and add a short note), or erase device that permanently deletes all data stored.

6.Turn off connections when you don’t need them.

If you’re not using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, turn them off. Besides saving some battery life, network connections can be used to attack you. The BlueBorne Bluetooth hackers are still alive, well, and ready to wreck your day. Don’t give it a chance.

7.Turn off Phone at Night

its is batter to turn off phone at night to avoid radiations and avoid attacks , if yours mobile having removable battery remove it also.

Based on Software Security

1.Avoid insecure Apps Only use apps from the Google Play Store.

In Android malware virus comes from third party application sources.Android is sure untill you install from out side or unknown sources, Google Play Store from time to time thy tested apps which stealing yours yours data and breaking rules.

Google has also kept working on making the Play Store safer than ever. For example, Google Play Protect can automatically scan your Android device for malware when you install programs. Make sure it’s on by going to Settings > Security > Play Protect. For maximum security, click Full scanning and “Scan device for security threats” on.

2.Read app permission

Did you download torch or web browser app and its asking access to your Contact list? If you wonder why some apps need so many permissions or why they request to access data unrelated to their purpose.its means the application developed for other reason uninstall it as quickly. if you install already so many days before you want to what app uses which permission
If you have Marshmallow or later versions of Android, go to Settings > Apps and then select the app. Click on Permissions and revoke all those permissions you’re uncomfortable with.

3.If you don’t use an app, uninstall it.

Every application comes with its own security problems. Most Android software vendors do a good job of updating their programs. Most of them. If you’re not using an application, get rid of it. The fewer program doors you have into your smartphone, the fewer chances an attacker has to invade it.
If you follow up with all these suggestions, your phone will be safer. It won’t be perfectly safe — nothing is in this world. But, you’ll be much more secure than you are now, and that’s not a small thing.

4.updates the apps

Always use up-to-date apps its is always secure and fix bugs, Your Android tablet or smartphone should automatically check for updates to the apps you use, and download and install them directly from the Google Play Store. Sometimes you might get prompted to authorise an update, so keep an eye out and make sure you give the go-ahead.

5.Use a Virtual Private Network.

If you’re on the road — whether it’s your local coffee shop or the remote office in Singapore — you’re going to want to use free Wi-Fi. We all do. We all take big chances when we do since they tend of be as secure as a net built out of thread. To make yourself safer you’ll want to use a mobile Virtual Private Network (VPN).
In my experience, the best of these are: F-Secure Freedome VPN, KeepSolid VPN Unlimited, NordVPN, Private Internet Access, and TorGuard. What you don’t want to do, no matter how tempted you may be, is to use a free VPN service. None of them work worth a darn.

6.Use two-factor or two step authentication.

Two Factor authentication is OTP functionality to secure Login & verify the users is correct is front of website.Apply two step authentication in Google mail, facebook or other which you are using and support otp use it.
